Anil Kapoor: Bank of America – Echelon Leadership Council Chair

Anil Kapoor is the Mid-West Division ADP executive for the Advisor Development Program at Merrill Wealth Management. Previously Anil served in leadership and producing roles in Merrill, Consumer Investments & Consumer for more than 10 years. He graduated from Old Dominion University where he received his bachelor’s degree in finance. Anil is based in Michigan, where he lives with his wife Andrea, a teacher, and four-year-old daughter, Alivia. Anil serves as the national chair of Echelon for The Salvation Army where he is tasked with mobilizing the next generation of leaders and volunteers nationally. He also sits on the National Salvation Army Board as an ex officio board member. 

Kaitlyn Horner: Marketing Consultant / Homemaker – Strategic Initiatives Chair
Kaitlyn Horner is a 31-year-old wife and mother. She has been on the Echelon Leadership Council since 2019 and currently holds the position of strategic initiatives chair. In short, she helps make strategic decisions for ELC and is the lead planner for the Echelon Leaders Symposium that is held every two years. As a former marketing manager with a degree in business management, she loves collecting all the small pieces and putting them together in a streamlined strategy. She has a passion for people and meeting their needs.

Chitra Kirpalani: Alabama Power – Connection Rep., South

Born in Chennai, India, Chitra moved with her parents to the United States as a child. She has a bachelor of science in business administration—accounting from Samford University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. A recognized leader in the DE&I space, Chitra guides the group fostering an inclusive workforce at Alabama Power. She joined the company in 2007 as an accountant and rose to positions of increasing responsibility, all while making significant volunteer impact through the Alabama Power Service Organization. She also serves on the National Salvation Army Echelon Leadership Council. Chitra resides in Birmingham with her husband and their daughter.

Javier Becerra: Doosan Bobcat North America – New Chapter Development Chair

Javier Becerra is an accomplished attorney with a robust background in corporate law and an unwavering commitment to community and professional engagement. Javier now holds the position of senior corporate and commercial counsel at Doosan Bobcat. Javier’s dedication to the legal field and community is evident through his active involvement in numerous organizations. He has held pivotal positions, including vice president and president of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, currently serving as a board member. As president of the Atlanta Echelon Young Professionals Chapter and a national board member of the Echelon Leadership Council, he has exhibited exemplary leadership and devoted himself to nurturing young professionals’ development.

Frederick Johnson: Potofino Capital Group, LLC – Connection Rep., South

A dynamic and personable business development consultant, Frederick Johnson is meticulous and upbeat. With more than 10 years of management experience, he oversees and manages multiple construction projects. He has trained various staff members on best practices, operational protocols and tactics to maximize performance. He also met and exceeded sales requirements to consistently rank at the top of the organization. Moreover, he was awarded multiple awards for top performance, including selling cloud-based solutions, protection plans and agreement plans for technical support. He is consistently recognized in the home building and commercial construction industry and the organization as a top performer for resolving client issues. 

Madilyn Maruna: Cavitch, Familo & Durkin – Connection Rep., Central

Madi Maruna is an attorney in Cleveland, Ohio at Cavitch, Familo & Durkin, Co., L.P.A. She focuses her practice in the areas of employment and business litigation. Madi became involved with Echelon when she noticed the need for a young professional group in her city with a focus on community service. Madi is a founding member and the president of the Cleveland Echelon chapter. She is also a member of the Echelon Leadership Council and serves as the ELC liaison for the Central Territory. In her spare time, Madi enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs, Hendrix and Intro.

Commissioner Colleen Riley: USA Western Territory – Commissioners Conference Rep.

Commissioner Colleen Riley is a fifth-generation Salvationist with roots back to one of the first officers in England under William Booth. She is an Arrow Executive Leadership graduate and carries a master’s degree in leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Commissioner Colleen and her husband Doug had their twin sons, Nick and Zach, just before they were commissioned as officers in 1995. At their first appointment at the Portland Moore Street Corps they added two more sons, Noah and Elijah, to complete their family of six. In July 2020, Colleen was appointed as territorial president of women’s ministries for the Western Territory and territorial spiritual life development secretary. She also is the executive officer for the Western Territory Staff Songsters and the National Echelon Committee.

Camille Yano: Camille and Co. – Social Media Chair

Born and raised in Hawaii, Camille Yano is successful in various industries — most notably modeling, fashion, dance, non-profit and business. Today she runs her own consulting company called Camille and Co. Camille continues to remain active in her community as the President and founding Member of the second Echelon Hawaii Chapter (Echelon West Oahu) and the social media chair for the Echelon Leaders Council. Prior to this she served as the marketing, events, and social media co-chair and was one of the founding members of Echelon Hawaii in Honolulu. In addition, she also served as the existing chapter development chair for the Echelon Leadership Council for two years. 

Sebastian Galvez: Johnson & Johnson – Connection Rep., East

Sebastian was born in El Salvador and moved to the United States when he was four years old. He first encountered non-profits when he was granted a scholarship to help him attend Raritan Valley Community College. From then on, he understood the important support non-profits provided their communities. Sebastian works for Johnson & Johnson in their Innovative Medicine (JJIM) sector as a manager in capacity management. Sebastian also serves as the health equity lead for Johnson and Johnson’s Raritan HOLA (Hispanic and Latino) Employee Resource Group. Sebastian helped launch the first Echelon chapter in New Jersey. He served as the president of the Morristown, NJ Echelon chapter for the last two years. He also sits on the New Jersey State Advisory Board as the co-chair of their Nominating Committee. Sebastian was recently appointed to Echelon Leadership Council in 2024 and serves as the eastern territory representative.
